Media Exchange Inc. announced on August 8 the launch of 10Gbps Ethernet interface connection service for contents providers' data centers.
The new service supports both IPv4 and IPv6, and starts at a monthly fee of 3 million Japanese yen (pay-as-you-go), with an initial fee of 1.5 million Japanese yen. This is the first 10Gbps data center service in Japan that supports IPv6, the company says.
10Gbps ports are available at Ikebukuro data center, which is approximately 2,700m2 space including newly added 500m2 on August 10.
