On June 20, NTT Communications opened a website that can check if the access to the website is based on IPv6. When a user accesses the website (called “IPv6 Communication Test Site”), it tells him if he is using IPv4 or IPv6 together with his IP address.

There has been a growing demand for such a simple website, because many users actually use a dual environment where IPv4 and IPv6 coexist, when they first start using IPv6, yet they want to know if they are really using IPv6.
