Ahnlab develops the world's first ant-virus software for mobile phones

Ahnlab,Inc. announced that it has developed the world's first anti-virus software for mobile phones, in collaboration with SK Telecom and IA Security.

For this anti-virus software, Ahnlab has developed the mobile vaccine engine, IA Security has developed wireless security technology, and SK Telecom has developed wireless communication platform technology.

This anti-virus software has equivalent functions to anti-virus software for PCs, such as "manual virus scan" that can be executed by user's request, "real-time scan" for executable files, "automatic scan" executed by systems, "engine update function" and "scan log management" used when it detects viruses.

The release date of this anti-virus software for mobile phones has not been announced.
